Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Telefonia

These terms govern your use of Telefonia's prepaid browser calling service, including credits, billing, acceptable use, and account access.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Telefonia, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to your account, prepaid wallet, browser-based calling, and related features.

2. Service Description

Telefonia is a browser-based calling service that lets you place outbound voice calls using prepaid credits. The service is intended for lawful personal or business communication and may change over time as features are added, removed, or refined.

3. Lawful Use and Abuse Prevention

You may use Telefonia only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You must not use the service for fraud, scams, harassment, robocalling, mass calling campaigns, spam, caller ID misuse, sanctions evasion, or any unlawful activity. We may suspend or terminate access, block call attempts, and forfeit promotional credits when abuse, suspicious activity, or policy violations are detected.

4. Credits, Rates, and Billing

Calls are prepaid. Paid calls are billed using the published destination rate shown on the pricing surface. After the first free call, Telefonia reserves the cost of the first billable minute for the destination before the call connects, then reconciles the final amount after the call ends using whole-minute billing. Unanswered, rejected, failed, or canceled paid calls are not intended to remain charged, and pricing or supported destinations may change with notice.

5. Free Trial

Telefonia may offer one introductory free call for up to 60 seconds. The free-trial offer may be modified, limited, or withdrawn at any time, including in cases of abuse, duplicate accounts, or other attempts to evade billing controls.

6. Refunds

Except where required by law, prepaid credits are non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, provide credits or refunds for clear service failures, duplicate charges, or failed-call billing errors. Promotional credits, abused accounts, and credits consumed through misuse are not eligible for refunds.

7. Call Quality and Availability

Call quality depends on internet connectivity, browser behavior, device conditions, upstream carrier routing, and third-party provider availability. Telefonia is provided on an as-available basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted service, specific call quality, or universal destination availability.

8. Privacy and Call Data

Telefonia may process account details, wallet activity, payment metadata, destination numbers, call timing, call duration, status events, and provider identifiers for billing, fraud prevention, support, security, and service improvement. Telefonia does not represent that call content is recorded or stored as part of the standard calling flow.

9. Emergency Services

Telefonia is not a replacement for a traditional phone service and must not be used for emergency calling. Do not rely on Telefonia to contact emergency services.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may refuse service, block transactions, suspend calls, restrict destinations, or terminate accounts when necessary to comply with law, investigate abuse, protect users, reduce fraud risk, or maintain service integrity.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telefonia and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service, including failed calls, degraded call quality, service interruptions, or lost business opportunities.
